Lions club promotes vision screening for young children

 Health checks are a traditional back-to-school activity across the country. Eye exams are especially important for children entering school for the first time, because vision and learning are inseparable.

According to data from the American Academy of Ophthalmology, one in 20 preschool children and one in four school-age children have vision problems that affect vision. Unfortunately, most children do not receive a proper eye exam before entering school. Studies have shown that only about 20% of preschool children get their vision tested through government or private programs.

Image screening is a screening method that uses a camera to take pictures of children's eyes. It can detect conditions such as lazy eye, farsightedness and nearsightedness, cataracts, and misaligned eyes.

More than 430,000 illiterate children between the ages of 6 months and 5 years in the United States have been photographed for such vision problems through local Lions clubs. Nearly 26,500 of them have been referred for treatment.

These photo exams are completed by trained volunteers and are a cost effective way to identify children's vision problems and have been shown to be accurate from 85% to 90%.

Visual impairment is the fourth most common disability among children in the United States. The earlier a child is screened, the better their chance of preventing permanent vision loss.

If your child has the following conditions, he or she may be showing signs of vision problems:

* Rub your eyes often;

* Difficulty concentrating;

* Blink more than usual;

* Squinting when focusing

Distant object

* Excessive frowning;

* Stumbled by small objects;

* Sensitive to light;

* Inflammation or tearing.

If you find any of these signs in your child, please contact your doctor or check with your child's school or your local Lions club to check. in your area.

Expressing love should be natural

I looked her in the eye and I knew she was in love with me. Her eyes told me. I asked him to meet me at five o'clock in the afternoon, and he was there at half past three. I know what happened. His movements and heartbeat told me it all. As she approached me, I could see her speed getting faster and faster. I knew that then. I talked to him and he reread some of the old love poems he had written. He never made people think that these poems were written for other people. I know he's reading them to me now. Love, how to express love? Does it require any training? Or is there a book to read? Does showing love need any guidance on what to do and what to avoid? This is natural.

Love is a sacred feeling. Love is not for ordinary people who doubt their motives everywhere. Love is not for money-hungry people who want to find opportunities everywhere. Love is not for those who seek the body. Love for those who are looking for a soul that can bring them heavenly happiness. Love is for those who want to talk quietly. Love belongs to the dreamer. Love is for losers, because they have lost themselves in love. Love is for those who forget the world in love. Love is a sublime feeling.

Although I have read many articles about relationships, breakups, marriages and divorces, when I see a couple sincerely in love, I see a sacred sight. I temporarily forgot all my troubles. Because I'm watching what God created, but we're being polluted. I look at love, a very pure love, and I like it. Love and express it with your body and soul. Nature. No books, no articles, and no tutorials. Let your love flow, and your lover will understand. That is love. Enjoy the happiness of love.
